This article will be continuously updated to reflect changes made in the game during implementation and to be aligned with other articles.

Intention.

I don’t make a goal to create a game that will be world-wide popular. Moreover, I realize that game creation alone is really a hard task and generally it is done by a game studio. Therefore, I will focus on something plain and simple like oldfashion 2D games.

I don’t set a gameplay as a cornestone of this game. I’m not a game designer to do it. I’m a developer, therefore I will focus on implementation aspects of the game. Who knows, maybe I will change my opinion in future, but now I will get my idea and borrow some mechanics from other games.

Gameplay.

You are a fleet admiral that manages a bunch of ships such as destroyers, cruisers, submarines, and so on. During each game’s turn you can move the ships based on their characteristics, provision and fuel. The ships can be improved or stocked with provision in one of vaious ports each of them having their unique technologies and supply chains. Ports are neutral territory, therefore you cannot directly influence it.

I think that it is enough for the first version of the game and we can move on to implementation.
